What is your favorite childhood book?
Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. It was my gateway to reading independently.
What is your favorite thing about teaching?
I enjoy being an accessory to the success of others and building relationships with students and the community. Teaching grants the chance to do that daily.
What is your favorite subject to teach and why?
Math. I like how much it intertwines with other subjects. Additionally, the development of problem solving and pattern recognition skills from math can help students succeed outside of class and in other content areas.
