What is your favorite childhood book?
Anything R.L Stine. I loved reading Goosebumps and The Cheerleader Series as a child.
What is your secret talent?
This is likely not an actual talent, but I love Karaoke. I am an awful singer, but getting up in front of people and screaming, I mean singing, my heart out is definitely a secret talent of mine.
What is your favorite thing about teaching?
Building relationships with students. Being able to foster those relationships so children love to learn and grow is my favorite thing about teaching.
What is your favorite subject to teach and why?
Math! So many students think math is “hard.” I like to prove them wrong. I love problem solving and instilling the love of figuring things out in my class. The lightbulb and excitement once students solve the problems is my favorite part of teaching math.
