What is your favorite childhood book?
My favorite childhood book is Harry Potter; my cat is even named Hermione.
What is your secret talent?
I am secretly an excellent singer!
What is your favorite thing about teaching?
My favorite thing about teaching is the relationship I form with my students and the community we create as a class.
What is your favorite subject to teach and why?
I LOVE to teach reading and phonics because when students find that ‘aha’ moment, I know they have unlocked a lifetime of learning and the joy of reading!
