What is your favorite childhood book?

My favorite childhood book was The Rainbow Fish.

What is your secret talent?

My secret talent is that I am a sprinter. My team and I placed 6th in State during my senior year track season.

Who was your favorite teacher in Elementary School and Why?

My first grade teacher, Mrs. Elliot, was my favorite teacher because she built such a strong and caring relationship with me. To this day she continues to check in on me. She was there for every achievement in my life.

What is your favorite thing about teaching?

My favorite thing about teaching is watching how every student learns in unique ways. It is amazing to see how so many brains think and work in different ways.

What is your favorite subject to teach and why?

My favorite subject to teach is writing. I love that writing allows you to express yourself in so many ways. With just one topic, you can go on hundreds of different adventures.

Why are you excited to be a part of the Willow family?

I am excited to be a part of the Willow family because there is an immediate sense of family and connection. There is an amazing amount of support felt from every single staff member and the school community.
