What is your favorite childhood book?

My favorite childhood book was Black Beauty, because I was obsessed with horses when I was younger. 

What is your secret talent?

My secret talent is that I can twirl the baton. I took classes for five years when I was younger and participated in parades and competitions.

What is your favorite thing about teaching?

My favorite thing about teaching is seeing students excited about their learning, whether they are excited about learning something new or feeling proud of how much they have grown.

What is your favorite subject to teach and why?

I enjoy teaching all subjects, but I think that math can be really fun and interesting. I love puzzles, and math can often feel like a code to break or a pattern to uncover.
